This is one print from a set of modern reproductions of Audubon's original watercolor paintings owned by the New York Historical Society. The set is number 380 out of a limited edition of 750 sets. The prints are numbered according to their own system. These are contained in a two drawer, walnut cabinet with brass pulls. This print has two plates, plate 51, titled "Ruddy Turnstone," and plate 52, titled "American Golden Plover." The top image depicts two birds with minimal background details, and the bottom image depicts three birds, with no background details.
