This colored lithograph was done by Charles Joseph Hullmandel & W. L. Walton for George Robert Grey's 1837-1849 publication, "The Genera of Birds: Comprising their Generic Chapters". The lithograph details an Alopochen goose on the beach with some hills in the background. At the bottom of the image is an inscription reading: "CHENALOPEX / jubalus (Spix)." The bottom-right reads: "C. Hullmandel's Patent Lithotint." The top-center reads: "PLECTROPTERINAE." The top-right reads: "CLXIV." This lithograph is plate #164.Artwork Details
