Description

This is a postcard from John James Audubon State Park. The front image shows the double elephant folios on display in wood and glass cases in the museum. A little boy wearing a green polo shirt and Lee's blue jeans stands is in the foreground looking at one folio. Opposite of him is a man in a blue shirt and khakis holding a little girl in a pink shirt, also looking at the folios. Other visitors are seen in the background. Some of the text on the back of the postcard reads, "John James Audubon / State Park / Henderson, KY / The museum houses "The Birds of America", an elephant folio collection of Audubon's famous engraving of birds, and original oils and watercolors by Audubon and his sons."
