This is a handwritten receipt for a silver set purchased by John James Audubon in London January 18, 1836. This silver was a gift for Lucy. Included on the receipt are 1 ½ dozen table spoons in King's pattern, 1 ½ dozen table forks, and 1 soup ladle. Audubon purchased the silver from Bot of A. H. Dry.
