This is a gold ring with an intaglio carnelian stone carved with image of a Roman centurion head. The carnelian stone is translucent, orange colored and set in a plain gold band. There is some simple decorative beading on the band where it meets the stone setting. A rectangular wooden stand with a purple velvet top accompanies the ring. The base of the stand is painted medium gray with a simple gold "X" pattern.Collection
