JJA.1940.1.47Description
This is a stereograph or stereocard of an albumen print mounted on cardstock/cardboard. The two images depict two men, which seem to be the same individuals in 1940.1.46. The man on the left has a pack on his back and is holding a pair of snowshoes, and the man on the right is holding a gun and snowshoes. The faded yellow mount identifies "McLeish and Cressey" as the photographers from St. Paul at the left edge of the mount. The print at the right edge reads: "Lake Superior Views, North Shore." Writing on the back identifies the scene: "Meprs[?] Warner & Whife as Hudson Bay Trappers."Collection
