Description

This is a stereograph or stereocard of an albumen print mounted on cardstock/cardboard. The image depicts a geological feature at the edge of a lake. The caption beneath the image on the left reads: "No 55 - The Pictured Rocks - The "Chapel" from the Lake.'" On the left edge of the brownish-orange mount, the print reads, "Gems of Lake Superior Scenery. Photographed by B. F. Childs." On the right edge, the print reads, "Brubaker & Whitesides, Publishers. Marquette, Mich."
