Description

This is a stereograph or stereocard of an albumen print mounted on cardstock/cardboard. The images depict a rock formation. The caption on the brownish-orange mount beneath the left image reads: "No 42. - The Pictured Rocks. - Interior 'Hole in the Wall.'" On the left edge of the mount, the print reads, "Gems of Lake Superior Scenery. Photographed by B. F. Childs." On the right edge, the print reads, "Brubaker & Whitesides, Publishers. Marquette, Mich."
