This colored lithograph was done by Charles Joseph Hullmandel & W. L. Walton for George Robert Grey's 1837-1849 publication, "The Genera of Birds: Comprising their Generic Chapters". The lithograph details a red-headed pheasant wandering by some tall grass in the background. At the bottom of the image is an inscription reading: "MEGACEPHALON / rufipes. (Quoy et Gaim)." The bottom-right reads: "C. Hullmandel's Patent Lithotint." The top-center reads: "TALEGALLINAE." The top-right reads: "CXXIII." This lithograph is plate #123.Collection
