Freestanding sculpture by Stanley Papio depicting a tall, long-necked, long-legged flamingo with one leg bent and raised behind.  Composed of sheet metal mounted to a bed spring.
This is one of twenty-two fence panels all constructed from bed springs with painted sheet metal ornament.  They originally formed an ornamental fence around Papio's museum.  Small ornaments in the form of birds, palm trees or other plant or animal forms were placed between the panels on top of the fence at the joins to serve as a joining pin.Type of Sculpture
