Postcard belonging to 'The Houses of Key West' series depicting the Alfonso/Carrasco House, located at 1001 Eaton Street. Notation on verso reads '13. THE ALFONSO/CARRASCO HOUSE c. 1890. This fine example of the Classic Revival style was originally the home of a cigar manufacturer, Benito Alfonso, and later that of Antonio Diaz Carrasco, the Cuban Consul to Key West from 1903-1915, when it also served as his consulate.'Subject Place
