Rotogravure Section - Laying the telephone cable between the United States and Cuba. The picture shows the cable ship "Stephano" in Havana Harbor, with the famous Morro castle in the background. The cable, which runs from Key West to Havana, is the longest under-water telephone line in the world. Service was inaugurated recently by President Harding, in a talk from Washington to President Menocal at the executive palace in Havana.
