Black and white portrait photograph of Captain Francis Watlington (1804-1887). Watlington was one of Key West's most prominent citizens and a wrecker by trade. Watlington lived in what is now called the Oldest House at 322 Duval Street. Housing his six accomplished daughters, the Watlington home was the center of Key West society.
