Black and white photograph of Calvin E. Oak standing on Knights Key Bridge. Caption reads, 'This was the southern terminus of the Florida East Coast Railway, where P&O steamships arrived from and sailed for Havana, Cuba, daily from February 1908 to January 1912. P&O S.S. Co boats using this dock regularly were OLIVETTE, MASCOTTE, MIAMI, in winter season GOV. COBB. There was a U.S. Post Office on Knights Key Dock from Apr 13, 1908 until Jan 31, 1912. World's biggest fish (26,000 lbs) caught off Knights Key Bridge at this point in June 1912 by Capt. Charlie Thompson of Miami.'
