The caption reads, ‘Million Dollar Senior High School, St. Petersburg, Florida, “The Sunshine City”.’ The description on the verso reads, ‘St. Petersburg’s Senior High School, constructed at a cost of $1,000.000, is one of the largest in Florida and of the semi-open type suitable to tropical latitudes, with its corridors facing patios. The auditorium seats more than 2,000 students and the stage which is equipped for the largest theatrical productions has more floor space than any other in the South.’ The message on the verso reads, ‘Dear Jennie, hope you are well. I am getting stronger and can take a few steps with a cane and help for which I am very grateful. I miss you all so much and long for my old Key West. I am very nicely treated.
