Postcard depicting a castle on the shore of the ocean.  The caption reads, ‘Castillo Del Morro, Habana.’  The message on the front reads, ‘August 22, 1906, Dear Jack:  It all turned out ok but will do as directed if it ever happens.  I will leave next Saturday for the Key, so am busy at present trying to sew.  The G.Y. boat hasn’t arrived yet and it is now 11 o’clock.  We are all anxious for her to get in to see Susie & Lillian, it seems like a year since we saw you all.  Jimmie has just come home & has a terrible cold.  The boat has just arrived & Susie & Lillian have been here & now they have gone home.  All send love to you all.  Lill.  Joe Collins has been sick ever since Sun.  I think he has the La Grippe.  Mary sends kisses to Uncle John.’  The card is addressed to Mr. John W. Hattrick, 2012 Latona Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Southwest Station, and is postmarked Key West, August 22, 1906 and Philadelphia, August 26, 1906.Collection
