The message on the verso reads, ‘May 26, 1911, Dear Carolyn:  I am glad you are having a nice time and that you are getting fat.  I hope you enjoy the two weeks with your cousin.  We are all well.  Hold this up to the light and it will look very pretty.  Your friend, Nellie’.  (The windows in the building glow when held in front of a light.)  The card is addressed to Miss Carolyn E.
