Postcard depicting a streetcar and a carriage on a bridge with a sign that reads, ‘Walk your horses.’ The caption reads, ‘Lafayette Street Bridge, Tampa, Florida.’ The message on the verso reads, ‘August 20, 1910, Tampa, Florida, Dear Lottie, I received the Postal that you sent Zelma but she was all ready up in Atlanta selecting her hats. We will be home when she gets back, that will be in a few days. Tell Scheurer Sister says to be good as she will bring him something. Lovingly, Alice’. The card is addressed to Mrs. Pressey Weatherford, Whitehead Street, Key West, Florida, and is postmarked Tampa, August 20, 1910.
