Postcard depicting a city street with a banner spanning the street that reads, ‘Joe S. Richardson Real Estate’, and store signs that read, ‘Elgin’s Fine Tailoring and Watches, Diamonds, Jewelry’. The caption reads, ‘Franklyn Street looking South, Tampa, Florida.’ The message on the verso reads, ‘Address 1605 Morgan Street, Tampa, Florida, August 11, 1910, Tampa, Florida, Dear Sister Lula, I wrote to you. I know that you have it by this time. I have felt fine ever since I left. Stop at Green Springs one day and night, went twice in the pool, drank lots of water of three different springs. I don’t want to go to that place anymore. All are well. Having a nice time. Love to Pa, Lovingly Alice.’ The card is addressed to Louisa Scheurer, 529 Whitehead Street, Key West, Florida, and is postmarked Tampa, August 11, 1910.
