Description

Glazed ceramic teacup with black, white, and yellow illustrations of Chinese style imagery including people and landscapes. The interior rim of the cup has a geometric pattern. The interior base has a figure navigating a boat down a waterway with buildings in the background. The foot of the cup has a maker's mark for Petrus Regout & Co. The cup was purportedly captured from a Spanish ship during the Spanish-American War.
