Postcard depicting large hotels. The caption reads, ‘Biscayne Boulevard Looking North from Flagler Street, Miami, Florida. Showing “McAllister”, “Columbus” and “Miami Colonial” Hotels.’ The message on the verso reads, ‘Miami, June 15, 1938, My dear Mrs. Weyaud, Many thanks to ___. We have waited to hear more in detail. Hope your dear daughter has had her operation for ___ by this time & everything will come out all right. We’re leaving on the 29th of this month for New York. Yesterday we went to West Palm Beach to see a friend of ours & as it always is the Rudolph ___. We will see them in New York.’ The card is addressed to Mrs. W. T. Weyaud, 213 N. Portage Path, Apt. 111, Akron, Ohio, and is postmarked Miami, June 16, 1938.
