Postcard depicting a large building.  The caption reads, ‘Greetings from Philadelphia. Bellevue-Stratford Hotel’.  (Very unusual postcard on hard cardboard with pull out of major sites in Philadelphia).  The message on the insert reads, ‘Will write letter Sunday.  Have not heard from Maud yet.  Regards to Dr. & May, also to Cottin.  Yours, Jack.’  The message on the front reads, ‘Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, March 29, 1906, Dear Carrie:  Letter received this P.M. pleased to hear from you, but sorry indeed to learn you have been so ill.  Hope ere this you have entirely recovered.  It has been a great disappointment to me that I could not get down this month or next.  I fear Frank is going to be laid up with either the grippe or typhoid.  The symptoms are more on the order of typhoid.  Only one thing lacking is nose bleed all the rest of symptoms are of it.
