Postcard depicting flowers surrounding two chicks observing an ant. The caption reads, ‘A Joyful Easter. A Happy Easter, a greeting true, this missive is to convey to you.’ The message on the verso reads, ‘Dear John, I guess you thought that New York People was two lively for you when you were here. Ford skipped away so quick. Jas F. B. Hattrick, 779 8th Avenue, New York City.’ The card is addressed to Mr. J.H. Hattrick, c/o Captain James R. Hattrick, 1918 Federal Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is postmarked New York, April 2, 1912.
