Black and white photograph depicting an explosion set off remotely by President Woodrow Wilson in Washington D.C. Text below the image reads 'Blowing Gamboa Dike.' The explosion cleared one of the last remaining barriers in the Culebra Cut, also known as the Gaillard Cut. The image is dated October 10, 1913. The photograph was designed to be attached to a postcard backing.
