Postcard depicting flowers. The message on the verso reads, ‘December 14, 1910, My Dearest Carrie, Your letter received last night and was more than glad to hear from you. I was up sewing until after 11 o'clock last night. I cut out your Kimono today, will try to mail it tomorrow. I am not feeling very well tonight. I have just come from Susie's they still have the cough bad. I wanted to write you a long letter tonight but I don't feel like sitting up to write. Papa don't feel none the best. I have been fixing the dolls dress today, am nearly finished it. We will be sure to get the box off on Saturday so that will give it a week to get there. Hattie was up here last night till 9 o'clock. Hope you can get the locket here in time for Christmas. The dress is in the top of the dolls box. ____ from Lill’. The card is addressed to Mrs. John W. Hattrick, 2113 Manton Street, Station D, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is postmarked Key West, December 15.
