Postcard depicting the Custom House at 281 Front Street. The caption reads, 'Key West Fla. Custom-House and Post Office and U.S. Naval Depot.' Notation on verso, 'These buildings are located at the corner of Front and Green [sic] Streets, overlooking the harbor. Nearby is a small triangular park known as Monumental Square. The Custom-house and Post Office occupy one building which was completed in 1891; it is of red brick with stone and terra cotta trimmings, and the cost of construction, together with the sea-wall, was $107,955.'Subject Place
