Description

Christmas card from Rose and Dick Mudd (grandson of Dr. Samuel Mudd) with a picture on the front and a typed letter inside. The sofa in the picture is purported to be the sofa on which Dr. Samuel Mudd examined the leg of John Wilkes Booth on April 15, 1865. The table off to the right was made by Mudd while he was in prison.
