Dear David, Muchas gracias for the lovely photo of Garbo & von Stroheim [Greta Garbo and Erich von Stroheim]. I hope you have gotten back the paintings you let Marion Stevens display in Charleston. She has sold at least one of mine which she hasn't paid for & has fled to Europe. I have a lovely new painting you may see if you are still a Williams collector. I think it is the best I've done. Yrs. Tennessee.'
