Postcard depicting the Havana American Cigar Factory that formerly stood on Flagler Avenue between Second and Third streets.  The caption reads, ‘Key West, Florida, Havana – American Cigar Factory.’  The notation on verso reads, ‘The three story stone building of the Havana American Cigar Company is one of the most complete and conveniently arranged factories in the U.S.  There are about 600 employees.  The building, standing in the middle of artistically laid out grounds was begun in 1905, and with the site, cost over $100,000.’Subject Place
