Postcard depicting a steamship docked at the end of a street. The caption reads, ‘Steamship Dock at Foot of Duval Street, Key West, Florida.’ The description on the verso reads, ‘Key West’s harbor has long been famed for its commodious and sheltered water. Ocean-going steamships come up to the foot of Duval Street, the “longest” street in the world running from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico.' The message on the verso reads, ‘Just in case you have forgotten, we miss you and hope you will be coming this way soon. Sincerely’. The card is addressed to Mrs. E. P. Winters, 629 Summit Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota, and is postmarked Key West, 1938.Collection
