The caption reads, ‘Southernmost Daily Newspaper in the U.S.’  Notation on verso, ‘Founded over fifty years ago, brought to modern proportions by the late L. P. Artman, The Key West Citizen has chronicled the events of the island, its quaintness and its greatness.
