Marker pen and pencil drawing on paper bag by Mario Sanchez depicting a man riding a bicycle carrying a dog in a basket attached to the handlebars. Three dogs follow behind the bike. A woman is walking down the street with an umbrella.
Caption written by Sanchez reads, 'The Ambulant Veterinarian. A generous man who made house calls to cure animals free of charge. He earned his living selling Bolita (numbers). He was a self-taught veterinarian who used herbs to cure animals and also had his own technique. One day I brought him home to see if he could straighten up a dog named Fatty that we had. The poor dog had a stiff neck and my wife told him Fatty had not moved his bowels ever since a couple or three days, because it tried and tried and could not. He took the dog and put him on his laps and in less than thirty seconds the dog had moved the bowels and his neck had straightened. He had introduced his middle right hand finger into the dog's 'you know what'. A week after that he came to sell us Bolita and he could not put one foot on the porch because Fatty wanted to eat him up. Fatty was a He-Dog.'Type of Drawing
