Black and white photograph of a Parrott Rifle at Fort Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas. Caption on verso reads, 'Ft. Jefferson. Parrot [sic] gun on the terreplein. The Rifled Parrot [sic] gun came into use during the war between the States and spelled the doom of masonry forts.'
