Wood carving by Mario Sanchez depicting the old Mallory Dock (present-day Mallory Square) with people fishing from the piers. Clouds in the sky - the center cloud has cats carving into it.
Caption written by Sanchez reads, 'This scene is from the water at the foot of Duval Street. The white house to the right was where the Porter Docks office was. The corrugated tin house was on a pier where the tug boats 'Willet' and 'Warbler' docked. The tug boats company's name was Merritt & ________. The emblem on the sign were two horses. I guess it represented horse power. In the background can be seen the George Waite Store, the First National Bank with its cupola, the Jefferson Hotel and the city hall's cupola with clocks, and other houses. That section of town looks very different now with the high riser and Pier House.'
