Description

Mi Favorita Key West cigar box lid. The artwork depicts a young woman with dark hair, wearing a pearl necklace. Mi Favorita was a bogus cigar brand with the name and artwork pirated from the E.H. Gato Factory. The brand suggested it was made in Key West, but was not. Lawsuits were settled in Gato's favor, and finally, in the 1880s, island manufacturers developed an official Key West cigar seal.
