Description

Freestanding sculpture by Stanley Papio which is a comical depiction of a man whose body is composed of a car door. His head is attached within the window frame and his arms extend on each side. The right hand holds a pink hammer with the left hand waving. Rests on two pipe legs with wheel base feet. The sculpture was Papio's commentary on the development of the Florida Keys. Suitcase Charlie represented the influx of new residents and developers to the island chain.
