Description

Freestanding sculpture by Stanley Papio depicting a standing figure of an Army veteran in a brown suit with painted lapels and medals on his chest at proper left including a small spade and a rabbit. The figure has a cat like face with long red ears and whiskers. A coil spring sits on top of his head. He carries a helmet in his right hand and an American Flag in his left hand. Helmet is made from a car oil pan, body from a water tank, arms are muffle pipes, face part of a brake drum, back of head is a Ford hubcap.
