Postcard depicting men and children with a cart that contains an advertisement that reads, ‘Use Berry Brothers celebrated varnishes and architectural finishes.’ The caption reads, ‘Our friends in Mexico’. An advertisement on the front of the card reads, ‘Spare the varnish, spoil the finish. Use on the interior woodwork of your house Luxeberry wood finish (the only genuine hard oil finish made). For floors, bathrooms, and outside doors use liquid granite. For sale by J. W. Johnson Company, Key West, Florida.’ A message on the front of the card reads, ‘Compliments of the Season. Mr. and Mrs. Aurelio Torres’. The card is addressed to Mr. John W. Hattrick, 2012 Latona Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Southwest Station, and is postmarked Key West, January 11, 1907.Collection
