Postcard depicting children and a dog with a cart that contains an advertisement that reads, ‘Use Berry Brothers celebrated varnishes and architectural finishes.’ The caption reads, ‘Say’. An advertisement on the front of the card reads, ‘Do not accept a substitute. Use on the interior woodwork of your house Luxeberry wood finish (the only genuine hard oil finish made). For floors, bathrooms, and outside doors use liquid granite. For sale by J. W. Johnson Company, Key West, Florida.’ A message on the front of the card reads, ‘Dear friend, excuse delay am just as busy as can be. Work very good. Family well. Hope yours same. Truly yours, A. Torres’. The card is addressed to Mr. J.W. Hattrick, 2012 Latona Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Southwest Station D, and is postmarked Key West, February 20, 1907.Collection
