Description

Postcard depicting a triangle-shaped, red and white striped brick building. The caption reads, ‘Florida First National Bank at Key West, Florida’. The description on the verso reads, 'Florida First National Bank at Key West, Florida. Key West's oldest bank with its distinctive Spanish style balcony lies at the entrance to Front Street, near recently restored Old Mallory Square. It is only a block from the north end of Duval Street where clipper ships and schooners docked in Key West's trading and wrecking days and where Naval vessels may be seen now. In the background are other old buildings of Front Street recently restored. Front Street was once lined with brokerage and commission houses serving the sailing ship trade.'
