Oil and pencil on canvas by Tennessee Williams depicting a nude figure standing in front of a canoe on fire. The title translates from French literally as 'Cry of the Heart'. Williams once referred to his work 'The Two-Character Play' as a cri de coeur. It was one of his most personal works that he spent nearly ten years writing and rewriting.
