Description

Freestanding sculpture by Stanley Papio depicting a standing figure with knees bent, balancing three balls - one on his head and a ball on each hand. The balls are composed of two perpendicular disks meant to turn in the wind. The figure has side-to-side movement. Figure is made of wire countours filled with expanded mesh fill. Figure is mounted on a long pipe (tightrope) with a seal (1987.01.3033b) and a purple pelican (1987.01.3033c) mounted on either side.
