Matted sepia photograph of Rear Admiral Charles Dwight Sigsbee with note, 'With my compliments to Miss Lois Moore Wenman, Charles D. Sigsbee, Rear Admiral, USN June 17th, 1917'. Also mounted is exhibit text, 'Rear Admiral Charles D. Sigsbee was commanding officer of the USS Maine at the time of it's sinking in Havana Harbor on February15, 1898. Sigsbee Park, Key West's largest Navy housing area, was named after him.'
