Description

Black and white photograph of the Florida East Coast Railway's Marathon Boardwalk. The boardwalk ran from the Florida East Coast Railway company station to the official quarters for workers. The 'X' marks the commissary store and post office that was run by Fred Barrett, postmaster. The bullseye was the location of the second Marathon post office and emergency hospital.
