Dear Lily, We received your letter this A.M. & are glad you are on your feet again we did not expect you to be in bed so long, Mon., Tues. & Wed. were nice days here but it rained hard last night & this morn. the rest of the day has been a little dull but no rain, Ma went to Miss Becky's 92nd birthday yesterday afternoon, she is still quite spry for her age, I think that's all the news for now hope you all keep well & that Alice comes allong [sic] alright.
