Postcard depicting a large church.  The caption reads, ‘Memorial Church, St. Augustine, Florida’.  The message on the front reads, ‘I saw this on my drive today.  It is beautiful.’  The message on the verso reads, ‘Ponce de Leon, St. Augustine, Florida, Dear Carrie, I am here for today after a most delightful trip up the East Coast.  Stopped at the Royal Palm at Miami; came by auto from there to Palm Beach.  Stopped at the Royal Poinciana, had a lovely time and leave this afternoon for Jacksonville. Lovingly, May’.  The card is addressed to Mrs. John W. Hattrick, 2113 Manton Street, Station D, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is postmarked St. Augustine, February 12, 1909.Collection
