Description

Closed-circuit oxygen rebreathing apparatus designed for military and combat diving. The apparatus consists of a black rubber breathing and counter-lung bag, leather harness, two black oxygen cylinders, and a circular face mask. The closed-circuit system recirculates exhaled breathing gas while removing carbon dioxide and replenishing oxygen, allowing the diver to operate underwater without producing visible bubbles. Manufactured by Pirelli in Italy, this type of apparatus was associated with Italian military combat swimmers, including the Decima Flottiglia MAS, and was subsequently used for military diving training.
