Black and white photograph of the P & O Steamship Line sidewheel steamer S.S. CITY OF KEY WEST. The ship was purchased by Florida East Coast Railway in 1896. She provided thrice-weekly passenger and freight service between Key West and Miami in the late 1890s. She was 227 feet long and displaced 939 tons, 900 horsepower. Her paddle wheels were 36 feet in diameter.
