Oil on door panel by Van Eno depicting a fantastical garden landscape abundant with luxuriant vegetation and vibrant floral forms. At the composition's center, four golden-hued female figures emerge from and intertwine with the surrounding foliage, creating an allegorical vision in which the human form and nature exist in harmonious unity. The figures are enveloped by an array of lush plants and blossoms rendered in rich greens, warm yellows, and vivid reds, producing a dense, animated environment.
Rising above the central group are stylized trees with elongated, slender trunks supporting rounded leafy canopies punctuated by small red fruit-like accents. Set against a deep blue-green background, the trees establish a sense of depth while contributing to the painting's tranquil yet dreamlike atmosphere. The artist's imaginative treatment of the landscape emphasizes fantasy over naturalism, inviting viewers into an idyllic, symbolic realm.Type of Painting
