Lidded ceramic jar. White earthenware with hand painted black lines on upper portion and lid. On either side of jar, two transfer print scenes of woman and child. On one side, woman dressed in Grecian style is seated on Klismos style chair, holding basket of flowers in one hand and playing with the child, who stands on the floor. On the other, the woman and child are seated at a piano, as if the woman was giving a lesson to the child. Catalogued by SAT 1993.Collection
